Hamdi Dakane

Hamdi is excited to join the SBCA in her role as Women’s Client Navigator & Financial Assistant. Hamdi is a recent graduate of Simmons University with a BS degree in Finance and Accounting. She has over five years of experience in organizational operations and peer & community advocacy, including serving clients at the SBCA before heading off to college. She has worked for several different types of businesses and nonprofits, and brings her dedication to community and attention to detail to her new position. Hamdi grew up in Lewiston, is bilingual in Somali and English, and is eager to apply the skills she has worked to build. In this role she hopes to serve her community and support the growth and development of the SBCA and Liberation Farms. Hamdi enjoys spending time in the quiet beauty of nature.
