Client Navigation Services

Based in downtown Lewiston, the Office & Community Center is the hub of Client Navigation Services, providing vital assistance to immigrants and refugees through support with childcare, housing, employment and healthcare systems with a culturally informed lens.

Mission

SBCA’s Client Navigation Services mission is to empower the immigrant community by providing culturally relevant support, advocating on their behalf, and helping navigate systems and resources available for our clients.

Vision

The Client Navigation Services program envisions an inclusive and successful community with reduced systemic barriers and increased opportunities for all.

SBCA’s Client Navigation Manager, Women’s Client Navigator, and Family & Youth Resource Manager offer systems navigation and cultural brokering services that link the clients to essential social services and foster individual and family wellness. SBCA Client Navigation staff provide services to over 2,500 clients annually in Maay Maay, Somali, and English and all originate from the community they serve. The SBCA Client Services strives to broaden its reach and increase language offerings to include French and Swahili in the future.
