Isha Kasai

Family & Youth Resource Manager

Isha is the SBCA’s Family & Youth Resource Manager and is a mother of a precious baby boy. She acquired a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine in Social Behavioral Sciences with a Psychology Minor. Prior to joining the team at SBCA, Isha worked as an Office Administrator for a homecare agency that provided care to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities in the community. She considers herself a lifelong helper of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities due to the fact she and her family provided direct personal care for her late father for 17 years due to severe lifelong injuries from a car accident. She acquired over five years of experience working professionally as a Direct Support Professional and Personal Support Specialist. In her high school years, she participated in track and field all throughout. During the summers, she worked and volunteered with community organizations such as MEIRS and Tree Street in mentoring, teaching, and coaching youth. Isha truly enjoyed this experience because she is passionate about creating a safe, healthy, and outgoing environment for youth to thrive.
